Helping Solar Dreams Come True
The Solstice Project
Bringing more solar energy to income-qualified families and individuals within Minnesota communities who might otherwise not have the opportunity to choose renewable energy sources for their homes.
What is The Solstice Project?
The Solstice Project Mission is to improve energy equity in the communities we serve. This initiative provides income qualified homeowners the opportunity to partake in making our world a better place through clean energy produced by solar on their home. There are many programs to help make a solar investment affordable to income-qualified homeowners, but there are still two significant barriers to entry for this population.
- Installing solar takes upfront cash
- Receiving the 30% federal tax credit require a tax liability
Why Solar Power for your home?
Boost property value
Switching from a utility to solar power is an easy, popular way to boost energy savings and grow a home’s value.
Protection From Rate Hikes
Electricity costs are continually rising. Going solar insulates you from rate spikes and protects your monthly budget.
Save money on energy
The average home can save $20,000 to $75,000 in energy costs over the lifetime of the system, which is typically 30 years.
